FLARE is committed to becoming carbon neutral. Every weather forecast loaded will be greener for the earth by 2025. Because the earth deserves it.
It all comes down to the 💻 💽 💾 servers which power FLARE services (like FLARE Weather's Weather Data Servers). We carefully select our service and data providers. We aim to work with more organisations whose servers run on green energy. So actually, ☀️💨💧 = ☔️🌡️🌪️. Our mission is to migrate all of our weather data servers to machines entirely powered by renewable energy by the end of 2025.
So far, around 40% of our migration is done. We're constantly working on improving our services, making them more power efficient and faster. Even the smallest improvements matter.
FLARE Weather+ subscribers help us on the way to a 100% carbon neutral future for FLARE Weather.
By the end of 2025, FLARE aims to transition all of its servers to providers who are carbon neutral. You can spread the word with the #flare2025 hashtag on social media.
